September 1, 2021 Comments Off on Which pharmacist is the most likely to take you on? By admin

Pharmacists are among the most sought-after workers in the medical industry, but they are often overlooked by employers.

In the past few years, we’ve seen a surge in vacancies, with some employers switching to new ways of recruiting for their own needs.

So we asked our own pharmacy employees to pick the most interesting pharmacist to work for them this year.

This pharmacist has worked at both pharmaceutical companies and independent pharmacies, so you can trust her to be honest.

What to expect as your doctor renews your license

July 15, 2021 Comments Off on What to expect as your doctor renews your license By admin

Texas is the only state in the country that doesn’t have an open-records law.

And that means doctors can’t be held accountable for a patient’s prescription history or for the drugs they prescribe, even if the doctor knows about the problem and the patient is aware of it.

Pharmacist licenses are issued by the Texas Board of Pharmacy.

The board has several requirements for renewals.

They include passing a written exam, passing a background check, paying a fee and passing a health exam.

But the state’s attorney general says that does not require all doctors to keep records of all prescriptions.

“I think the governor and others who have talked about this as a priority have never really looked at the data,” said Austin attorney Mark D’Angelo, who represents the attorney general’s office.

The attorney general is asking the Texas Medical Board to require doctors to maintain the records, including when they change prescriptions or prescribe another medication, and if they give new patients a new prescription.

The attorney general has also asked the board to require physicians to submit quarterly reports on their prescribing practices.

“You can’t have a state medical board, which is supposed to be an independent entity, being in a position to be able to say, ‘Oh, you didn’t do that,’ ” D’angelo said.

The Texas Board has not commented on the attorney General’s request.
